Our nationally accredited courses and programs are designed by and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This is the core difference that makes our education so effective for our national First Nations community. Tranby’s courses are created to meet community needs and provide our Mob with the skills, knowledge and leadership necessary to give back and bring about change in our communities.

By studying with Tranby, you can get the right skills and knowledge to build a stronger career and help empower your community. Tranby is responsible for the quality of the training and assessment in compliance with the Standards for RTOs, 2025 and for the issuance of the AQF certification documentation. For students in NSW, this training is subsidised by the NSW Government. For students outside NSW, the training is subsidised by the National Indigenous Australians Agency.

Our online courses are delivered by our passionate and committed trainers.
Nationally recognised qualifications require you to successfully complete assessments, but the learning component of your course is self-paced. We provide due dates for assessment submission to help you keep on track with your course progression.
The online courses include live, weekly Q&A sessions where you can connect with your classmates, your trainer and guest speakers.
Our on campus, in person ‘Block Release’ courses combine intensive study periods with online learning.
You will attend five one-week study blocks at our campus in Glebe on Gadigal Country, Sydney.
In between each study block, you will access and work through your course materials via our learning portal. Learning materials include readings, interviews with subject matter experts and supplementary resources (such as links to websites, videos, podcasts and articles), all curated for each module of study.

Here at Tranby, we are committed to supporting each student’s individual learning goals.
Our community needs culturally safe spaces like Tranby to share, learn and succeed together. Culturally appropriate and supportive learning environments for our Mob that educate and empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults (18-years of age or older), create sustainable change for individuals and communities. People gather at Tranby to learn and share knowledge and experiences for connection with community.
Adult education is about lifelong learning.
We understand that adult education can be challenging and not everyone’s learning journey will be the same. As a result, we have flexible learning options in place to best support our students to meet their learning goals.
